We specifically came to this place because of the kitchen. But it was so incredibly dirty, I couldn’t even stand to be in it. The whole place is messy and it’s not a café, we ended up leaving a day early.

ATCan recommend it a 100 % I wanted to stay only for three nights and it turned to two weeks. The family there makes you feel really at home, Anura even teached me how to make coconut rotti. It‘s clean and is super close to the beach. Give it a try !
CAThank you for a great stay! Very cute homestay. The rooms were spacious and clean and had a comfortable bed. They were very quick to respond to any questions before showing up. The overhead fan was very powerful and kept the air moving well. They even drove me to the bus station when I checked out. Thanks for everything!
GBHost is lovely and goes out of his way to be helpful! Good location, easy for parking our tuktuk and walking to restaurants. Great breakfast and he even gave us a box of tea as a gift when we left.
PLWe recently stayed at Cafe Tangola Home Stay and had a fantastic experience. The location is excellent, just a short walk to a beautiful beach and close to the city. Everything in the house was extremely clean, especially the spacious room, which had a large, comfortable bed and well-maintained furniture. The bathroom was spotless and nicely designed as well. The breakfast was a real highlight! We were treated to a variety of delicious traditional Sri Lankan foods, and the portions were generous. It was a big, satisfying breakfast that gave us the energy to explore the area. The hosts were incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. Although we originally booked for just one night, we decided to extend our stay for a second night because we enjoyed it so much. The hosts were very accommodating and even helped us organize trips to explore some beautiful spots around Tangalle. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend Cafe Tangola Home Stay to anyone visiting the area.
