Just like being at home. everything you could need is there even small flask to take coffee out for the day!

There is a lot of steps outside the property which my 3 year old managed very well but any younger they may have struggled a little.

"Perfect place for us and in a great location."

One of the best places we've stayed after coming to the Lake District for more than 40 years. Clean, comfortable, spacious, with everything we needed. Plenty of off-road parking. In a quiet village with beach & hill walks nearby, and a little train station so no need to use our car.

"Exceptional"

The bungalow was so spacious and we loved the view from the back rooms over the fields and mountains. The kitchen was exceptionally well appointed meaning we even cooked a roast one night and played scrabble. The area has lots to do (nature, castles, museums etc) and the sunsets over the water were phenomenal. Southern Cumbria is often overlooked but we cannot recommend it enough. Thanks for a brilliant long weekend.
