The Red Lion Arlingham

Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. Rooms were lovely, beds very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful.

Location was ideal for our needs.

Cob webs behind TV and around skylight not touched in quite some time . There was no proper fan on the room to help with the extreme heat experienced during our stay .

Food is exceptional with fantastic customer service

There is. Drain smell in re bathroom. Room was not serviced no option for cooked breakfast on Sundays

A wonderful historic pub with very good food and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the historic photos and interesting (and working) clocks. Lovely walks nearby from an interesting village.

However- unfortunately the bed and mattress were also historic, with very uncomfortable bed springs that made sleep difficult. The room wasn’t clean. It needed a good hoover under the bed. The shower ran hot and cold. There was a continental breakfast left in the room. This was good, but there was nowhere to sit and eat it. We were told that bedrooms are being refurbished so maybe be this will change, but currently it’s a pity as currently accommodation lets down a fabulous pub.

Continental, very good and tasty.
