"Lovely lodge but a poor setting"

Lack of any type of view, surrounding area was more industrial than rustic . All we could see was a car park and a brick built shed.

"Excellent accommodation in peaceful Woodhall Spa"

The lodge is easily 5 star standard, very well maintained and convenient for parking. Woodhall Spa shops are just down the road, there are local walks and attractions such as the Kinema in the Woods. Locals are very friendly and welcoming. There is a good choice of restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as boutique shops and the regular supermarkets such as Sainsburys and Morrison Local. Our hosts have done an exceptional job in making us welcome and ensuring a relaxing stay. There is alot of history attached to the RAF in the area, so the lodge would be perfect for anyone wanting to use it as a base for exploring the past. Also the National Golf Centre is nearby, so the lodge is ideal for golf-related stays.

All good, nothing to complain about.

"Three out of four people found the lodge sooo nice, but elderly guest found it difficult to access,"

Key safe found eventually, difficult to open and on leaving didn't realise needed code to close

Number of steps to access the lodge photo etc didn't show how many. 94 year old arlthric person found the steps difficult.

Beautiful lodge which we couldn't fault. Well equiped and meet our needs. Quiet location yet really convenient for everything.

The smell from the drainage on site as next to the ses pit and septic tank. Unbearable at times. The stench totally spoilt our experience.

"Nice comfortable stay wish the pitch was in a better location"

Very comfortable static and really close to Woodhall Spa and Golf courses

The location next to the bin shed and a drain smell was not the best location for this lovely static but very nice when indoors

"Disappointingly smelly."

The lodge was nice clean and tidy.

Unfortunately the lodge is right next to the septic tanks. Which needed emptying when we were staying there. Unfortunately this made out side the lodge extremely smelly. We couldn’t sit outside the lodge or open the windows for fresh air because the smell was so bad.
