Salameh's Bedouin Camp

Nice location but he is cheating with sightseeing only three locations

Salame is an excellent host. Food was really fresh and yummy. Camp rooms are much bigger than we thought, very clean and tidy.

it was an amazing experience to be in this camp. Salameh and his family are really nice people and funny too. I can totally recommend to make a tour with the jeep and see the sunset. The highlight was the dinner in the night, where the family made traditional jordan food. All in all it was a trip, i will never forget

The desert is an amazing experience. I had a stay in the comfort of a hotel far beyond what I expected in the desert. food was delicious. The view from the rooms is legendary, it is enough to open your eyes at 5:45 in the morning and watch the sunrise. I stayed at Salameh‘s Bedouin Camp. It was an amazing experience. It was comfortable and clean and we even had a private bathroom with a western toilette. Beds were also really comfortable and food was delicious. The host are really kind and helpful. We also did an amazing jeep tour - and it was so much fun. The next day we went on a Camel Ride. Your really feel how they love their animals and that they are well treated. My Camel‘s name was Susu. She was such a sweetheart and loved to be cuddled. If there would have been more space in my Luggage, I would have taken her home with me. In Summary - a really authentic experience. Wonderful hosts that made you feel like at home. You really can escape your normal life for a while and feel a little like a Bedouin.

The rooms were in a great spot and very clean. The dinner was absolutely incredible - the best meal I had in Jordan. There’s a perfect sunset spot with a short walk. All the staff were so lovely and accommodating.

Towels weren’t the best

The camp and room was clean and set up on arrival. The dinner/food was a highlight as there were many options to pick from. Salameh was a great host and spoke great English on our wadi rum day tour. It also had a fantastic spot for the sunset view.

Pillows were too big and slightly uncomfortable

Salameh's Bedouin Camp exceeded my expectations with its breathtaking desert location and exceptional hospitality. It offers an unparalleled experience for those seeking solitude away from the hustle and bustle, and the absence of internet adds to its charm. Having visited four different deserts across three countries, I can confidently say that Wadi Ram is the best.

Everything was perfect

The staff were friendly and attentive. The dinner was delicious and authentic. The ensuite rooms were very clean and no insects apart from some cheeky flies that infiltrated when we had the door open. We did the jeep tour and it was amazing, highly recommend!

The beds were comfortable but the mattress could be thicker.

Our host was very kind and he delivered everything we agreed upon (and more). The camp is small (only 5 tents) which is great if you want privacy and peace. The tent has everything you need- bathroom with shower, shampoo, shower gel, towels and toilet paper. The bed is big and clean. We loved the terrace in front of the tent (not many camps have such a terrace). The food was great, cudos to the chef! We booked 5h jeep tour from this camp which was excellent. We also took camel ride in the morning which turned out to be perfect. Thank you Mohammad for hosting us and making our stay in Wadi Rum unforgettable :)
