Serendipity ~ Romantic Hideaway in Ambleside

Great accommodation with easy parking and the view from the window of the city as designed for photographers. The facilities in the apartment were of a very good standard, the bottle of prosecco was a nice bonus. The town centre is a very short walk down steep steps (... and back up again : (), Tesco and restaurants are only about 150m away. Definitely worth the money.

The weather could have been a little better but unfortunately this cannot be booked.

Incredible location and view, just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Parking was easy and host communication was brilliant throughout. An excellent homebase to explore the area while still cosy enough to stay in on the rainy days.

Amazing location with great facilities and fantastic views over Ambleside. The owner was on hand for any questions and I can't recommend this highly enough for couples wanting a central, quiet stay with parking.

The location is really good, right at the center of the town with many shops and restaurants nearby. It is located at the higher point so it has a nice view of the town.

The layout of the apartment is amazing. Opening your eyes in the morning to a view of the mountains is such a grounding and peaceful way to start the day. Highly recommend for anyone desperately needing to disconnect with the crazy pace of everyday life, and reconnect with nature and the space to breathe. Dave couldn’t have been more accommodating. He’d thought of lots of little things you might need including basics in the kitchen. He made us feel that if we needed anything, we could always contact him. Perfect stay. The only bad thing was leaving the place!
