Enjoy Your Oceanside Dream at Kihei Surfside

Very easy access to the unit and the grounds were beautiful.

Ocean view and more important it was clean!!

I would recommend this unit if you plan to stay in Kihei. The host, Bob Martin, is very friendly and eager to be sure you enjoy your stay. The entry is easy with a code you will get before arrival. I believe the unit is a good value for this part of Maui. The photos are accurate, and you will have an ocean view. The A/C works well to cool the unit down in the late afternoon sun, and there are also ceiling fans. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, flatware, pots & pans, etc. with only a couple exceptions which I mentioned to Bob. There are places nearby for casual food like pizza or fish & chips, but no real ocean-front eateries except at some of the resort-hotels. The little store at the condo building next door is very handy for some of the basics (like paper towels), good sandwiches, cold drinks, ice cream.

One thing is inaccurate on the booking.com website. The unit does not have a washer and dryer, but there is a small laundry room. Most of the machines take quarters or credit cards. The thing we missed the most was a clothes-drying rack, and I already mentioned that to Bob. There was no place to hang wet swimsuits and such. This was my first time staying in Kihei. I know people who really love this area, but it isn't my favorite. That's just personal preference.

This condo and property is fantastic! My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary trip. It’s right on the water so the views from everywhere are amazing and It was a quick 2 minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach. Our last night here we sat on the lawn and watched whales passing by at sunset (truly magical). The condo has everything you need (and more) to be comfortable and was very clean. It was so lovely sitting on the balcony eating breakfast and looking at the ocean. Kihei and Wailea are both about a 5 minute drive so you get the best of both worlds which I thought was neat. (Kihei has amazzzing food!) We have no complaints, we truly had a great experience.

The view is absolutely stunning.

I found the bed a bit hard for me.

Lovely ocean views, especially at sunset, and being able to watch whales in the distance. It was spotlessly clean and well presented. Easy parking right outside. There was a well equipped kitchen though we ate out, apart from breakfast on the balcony.

Close proximity to everything, especially the ocean. Clean rooms and kitchen/bathroom. Plenty of linens. Located a short drive from the airport.

The elevator, very slow and depending on the time of the day, best yo use the stairs to be faster!

Wonderful central location on Maui with a spectacular view. Day trips to Road to Hana, Haleakala, and Lahaina were easy to accomplish. Whale watching from the unit's balcony was a treat with the supplied binoculars. Grocery stores and great restaurants close by.

A laundry basket would be a great thing to add to unit's supply items. I didn't realize laundry facilities were not in the unit but were instead shared for the whole facility.
