Die Lage von Ásólfsstaðir - Miðhóll ist sehr gut für alle Unternehmungen in der Region Thorisvatn, Fjallabaki, Hekla, u.a. Die Lage des Hauses selbst ist im grünen Wiesen- und Wald-Land ausgezeichnet. Das Haus ist für zwei Personen geräumig und sinnvoll möbeliert. Gutes Bad mit Wasch/Trocken-Maschine. Reichlich ausgestattete Küche. Sehr schöner Hot-Pot auf der Terrasse mit Aussicht ins Grüne. Wir haben ihn täglich benutzt. Wir haben uns zwei Wochen lang in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt.

Excellent! Very well equipped. Comfortable beds, lots of hot water and awesome hot tub. Lots of hooks to dry wet gear, everything where you want it - spot for boots, hanging coats, great kitchen with a good skillet and cooking implements plus plenty of space to store food you bring. Great to have washer dryer! View from dining table is spectacular!

A couple minor things could make the experience even better. A shelf in the shower for shampoo bottles, pot holders for taking dishes from the oven and instructions on how to run a dry only cycle in the laundry. The wash + dry instructions worked great but some items didn’t fully dry and it would be nice to do an extra dryer only cycle to get them all the way dry before packing up. Overall great place with so much attention to detail that really matters!

"Nice new and cosy house in beautiful environment"

A small but very nice and cosy new house with a large veranda and our own hot pool. We appreciated the owner stopping by. Beautiful view to the Hekla Vulcano and lots of trees and flowers. From here we went to Landmannalaugar, which was great!

We had crystal clear weather during our visit, allowing us to get magnificent views. It is a very quiet location, which we also loved! Not a single downside to this property as far as we are concerned.
