Turtle Bay Beach House

Room: Comfortable bed (the two single beds were combined into a king bed and a mattress topper was added), clean room and great sunset view. Location: great for snorkeling and kayaking. Easy walk to the resort nearby for a date night out. Millenium Cave provides pick up from and drop off to the accomodation. Staff: friendly, welcoming and insightful.

The kitchen knives could be sharpened.

Krásné ubytování! Všechno bylo dokonalé. Ochotná a velmi milá hostitelka, evidentně dělají všechno proto, aby se hosté cítili co nejlépe. Z chaty jsme chodili rovnou do moře, na místě byl úplný klid. Zahrada je krásně upravená a pozemek je pro celkem čtyři chaty opravdu velký. Nikdo nikoho neruší. Společná kuchyň s jídelnou a posezením je výborně vybavená a zorganizovaná. Dobré místo, kde bylo možné se potkat s ostatními hosty, kteří byli všichni moc milí. Také výlety a šnorchlování, co doporučují hostitelé, byly dobré a byli jsme spokojení. Ráda bych se vrátila i doporučila všem kamarádům, ale je to od nás hodně daleko. Stavovali jsme se tam cestou z NZ.

Nevím o ničem, všechno bylo dokonalé.

Older and a little chaotic too many kitchen utensils and artefacts gathering dust etc , quite dark inside but comfortable and good value.

We loved our stay at Turtle Bay Beach House. The setting is idyllic and we loved the little jetty and being able to swim at anytime. We did have trade winds for most of our stay which was a shame, as when the wind stopped it was perfect. The free kayaks were amazing and we used them to go to Matevula blue hole. We relied a bit too much on the lodge for our food - however it is less than 10 min walk. We would have liked to have been more prepared with food, but you need to plan ahead. There is a good market in Luganville that seems to be open all the time - just know what fruit/veg is in season otherwise it is quite overwhelming.

Unless you were in town for other reasons it felt like a bit of an effort to get supplies - the options are bus (but still not really sure how they work), taxi, communal taxi (hail down a CT plate - good weekday option), or the host might be able to take you. Best to get supplies on the way from the airport - just ask the tax driver. If you are a light sleeper, make sure you take your earplugs as while it is great to by right the sea, it is very loud when the tide is in and the ocean is hitting the seawall.

Picture perfect location, the room was beautifully presented, clean and well equipped, and the caretakers were very friendly and helpful. Remember to shop in Luganville before you arrive - the room is equipped with a bar fridge with little freezer section at the top, and there is a restaurant a short stroll up the road (approx 500m) if the tide is low you can walk along the beach. Highly recommend staying here, everything was perfect!!

We were lucky enough to have an incredible stay at the Beach House in Turtle Bay. The house blends wonderfully into this beautiful environment. Simple, but tastefully decorated and spacious with ceiling fans with good cross ventilation and shade to make it comfortable. We loved to go stand up paddle boarding every morning and could see turtles, fish and coral beneath us. The kayaks were great to explore Turtle Bay and the nearby blue holes. Willie and Marie were friendly and helpful and fixed out shower quickly when it stopped heating. We also had a friendly neighbourhood cat and dog come to visit which the kids loved. When we couldn't be bothered cooking we walked over to Turtle Bay Resort for dinner or a cocktail and icecream. I recommend the beef hanging kebab. The website was very helpful and is packed full of very useful information, including places to visit, taxi phone numbers, and which fish not to eat. A magical place, we would love to stay here again

Luganville was some distance away, so stock up on food and water.
