The Gardener's Cottage

The cottage is beautifully decorated and includes excellent facilities such as a microwave, oven, cooktop etc. The outdoor seating area is divine - comfortable and surrounded by a beautiful garden. Liz and David are very welcoming and helpful hosts and there is plenty of information about the local area provided. The location is perfect, including a parking permit. No less than 4 pubs within a 5 minute walk plus Indian and Cantonese!!

Just had to be careful with the locks (don't ask about getting locked in)!! Space is at a premium but all fittings are of first class quality/well organised.

It was a beautiful calm space for me to retreat to during a hectic weekend.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

I guess "small but perfectly formed" fits the bill. And with a very nice, peaceful garden patio as a welcome bonus.

As a former "gite" owner, I might have changed a couple of bits and pieces to suit my personal preferences, but there is nothing to put off anyone from staying at Gardener's Cottage.

Lovely quaint hide away...fully equipped, comfy bed, perfect location. 😊
