Apartment Maya's Place

This is a huge apartment with a very well equipped kitchen. It's the first time in 6 months of travel we have had every required kitchen item which we appreciated. There is an elevator to the 8th floor, 2 bedrooms and 2 toilets. The hosts/managers were incredibly responsive when we had a couple of minor issues. Dog friendly.

While it was comfortable, the apartment and furniture are outdated and need a refresh.

A large apartment in a high apartment building. Nicely furnished in retro style and with a beautiful view of the old town from above. We had everything we needed for our stay here. The owner was helpful, waited for us upon arrival and showed us where to park (near the apartment on the street) and extended our check-out by an hour upon request. The biggest advantage of this accommodation is its location just a few minutes from the city center, Stone bridge and close to good restaurants. Everything we needed, including a store, was within reach. An ideal place for exploring Skopje.

Very big, clean, nice apartment in a good location. We did not have the chance to meet the hosts, but they were very helpful. We were very satisfied with the flat.

Nothing negative to say.

De ligging

This stay was a major disappointment. The bathtub did not work properly, hot water was almost never available, there were multiple cockroaches, leaks in both the bathroom and kitchen, and the host responded unprofessionally to our complaints. Our holiday, which we had looked forward to for months, was largely ruined because of this. We had been especially excited about this place because of the bathtub – it was a first requirement for us since we don’t have one at home and had been looking forward to it for over 2.5 months. Unfortunately, upon arrival it turned out that the bath was unusable: there was no proper stopper, so it couldn’t be filled. A day later a stopper was provided. Hot water was another serious issue. After waiting 8 hours, there is barely enough hot water for 3 minutes, after which it immediately turns cold and takes hours to heat up again. For a single shower this is frustrating, but for a family of five it is completely impossible – especially in 30–35°C weather when you need to refresh more often. On top of that, we discovered multiple cockroaches in the apartment (a total of 16 during our stay). This made it impossible to feel comfortable or sleep well, as I worried about them crawling into our beds. There was already a can of cockroach spray in the apartment, showing that this was an ongoing issue. With asthma and a 20-month-old baby in the house, this was very unsafe due to the chemicals involved. When we reported these problems to the host, the responses were disappointing: – He told us simply to wait until the boiler heated up again, which is not a real solution. – When I messaged him late in the evening about the cockroaches and the bath, he replied: “please don’t write me this late, I need rest.” This made us feel that we could no longer report any further issues.

Apartamentul spațios cu wi fi bun, necesita renovare ( este foarte vechi), este foarte aproape de obiective la 10 minute de mers le jos, proprietarul ne a oferit parcare gratis, foarte comunicativ.

L' appartamento è situato a 10 minuti di cammino dal centro città. Per noi è stata determinante la vicinanza con la struttura sportiva Arena Toše Proeski (sempre 10 minuti di cammino) A dispetto dell' aspetto esterno dell' edificio l' appartamento è molto curato, grande, arioso e luminoso. Dotato di ogni comfort dall' aria condizionata all' eccellente wifi, nonchè dotazioni di cui non abbiamo avuto necessità di usufruire (lavastoviglie, lavatrice, forno) Squisitamente gentili ed estremamente disponibili i proprietari. La loro accoglienza vale già da sola il soggiorno
