Ionian Apartment, Sami

This lovely apartment is in the heart of the town near to restaurants, bars cafes and shops. It’s is spacious and has everything you need for a home from home stay. It is exceptionally clean and well resourced. A five minute walk takes you to the local beach which is great for swimming and there are lots of other beaches a short car ride away. The hosts are really friendly and helpful. I can’t say how much we liked it and we will definitely return.

I noticed on another review that there was a negative comment about noise but we enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the sounds of normal Greek life. It was just an occasional hum in the background and definitely not noisy or intrusive. There was nothing about this properly that we didn’t like.

Wonderful apartment with all facilities! Complimentary fruits and wine , coffee and local sweets . Welcome book very helpful for exploring the island . Beyond our expectations! Friendly owners !

It had everything we needed and it was close to amenities.

The apartment was well equipped, clean and suited our needs. Well placed near a coffee shop, bakery and supermarket. Modern with solid furniture. Lovely all around balcony. Beach and square a short walk. Nice to be in a bit more of an authentic setting. Sami felt a good location as a base to see other places too.

A little noisy as the apartment is by a local through road but got used to it and wasn't too much of a problem then. No noise at night. Only one mirror - an extra would be beneficial with multiple guests. A welcome book would be helpful - about flushing loo paper or not, recycling or not, bins, nearest shops, beach, contacts etc.
