Dear Booking.com team, Thank you for your support so far. I am writing to formally escalate the situation regarding my current stay in Brighton. Despite having a fully paid and confirmed booking, a woman came to the property claiming to be the owner and stated she had not been paid. The next day, a locksmith was sent to change the lock and told us we must leave the property. This is a clear case of attempted illegal eviction under UK law, specifically the Protection from Eviction Act 1977, Section 1, which prohibits any attempt to evict a tenant or guest without a court order. Changing locks or threatening removal is a criminal offence.

I was forced to move out of the location the very next day..., even with the rent paid in advance..., the owner came to change the door lock..., misunderstandings between the owner and the rental company..., a very bad experience..., not exactly legal what they tried...

Was given the wrong key safe code so had to ring the manager to gain access. The microwave when used started to spark this needs replacing asap. Only two thin pillow on the bed we had to go out and buy some more just for as comfortable sleep. The description said it came with toiletries and it didn’t.

Ideal location for the Brighton centre.

Nice set up

No tin opener, scissors, oven glove & no blanket for sofa bed. Also toaster didn't work & freezer leaked a little bit
