Stylish Quentin Apartment in the King Street

Location and number of bedrooms as we are 4 friends requiring space and privacy Nice wine glasses It was clean and with some TLC it could be a lovely place to stay

Inaccurate check in details and incorrect code given Shabby entrance with smashed glass in corridor Broken door step was a hazard Blind not working so exposed to buildings opposite Couch arm broken Coffee table balanced on Ill fitting legs No safety aspect to shower temperatures - friend was hurt Broken window lock so had to take passports everywhere - owner attempted to fix but was still a gap so it was cold in the bedroom No further attempt to resolve despite being contacted No fire safety detectors Smashed balcony glass due to vandalism- misrepresented on photos The damaged mattress referred to in other peoples reviews was left propped up on balcony It was noisy and windows aren’t sound proof Minimal kitchen equipment No instructions for rubbish removal No plug to wash up but this was resolved All can easily be resolved

It was not as advertised it was dark and dingy in the entrance hall, lift and in the apartment which smelled of stale cigarette smoke and body oder, the arm of the sofa bed in the living area just inside the apartment door was broken hanging off from the back. Entry was via a tatty iron gate between two shops with no indication of the street number or name of the apartments.

Location was great and central. Beds were firm and comfortable

The property is in need of some maintenance, broken furniture and door handles. The curtain separating the lounge area from the main bedroom doesn’t close so no privacy. Living area is quite small with most of it in a bedroom. We couldn’t get the TVs to work - no aerial connections. There is only one bathroom sink which is difficult with 6 people.

A very nice, tastefully furnished apartment in a central location, very convenient for both walking and public transportation, including the bus to and from the airport. The owners were very attentive and helpful, immediately willing to replace the mattress, which was sagging and unusable. Overall, a positive experience, especially considering the convenience of being able to have breakfast or dinner in the apartment.

. The building is slightly run-down in the common areas, and the apartment, although clean and well-maintained, is unfortunately likely affected by the constant flow of guests, some of whom were probably not particularly polite and may have damaged a few things here and there.
