Güneşli Tepe Datça

It was a real pleasure to stay in this charming village house with exceptional comfort and perfect location. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good, from local natural products. The neighboring cats added to the peaceful landscape. I would definitely recommend to stay in Güneşli Tepe. You can buy from the hosts some local honey (as I did, and it was very nice) or other different home made products.

Wonderful hosts who couldn't do enough for us. This venue is a magical rural idyll. A beautiful peaceful place, amazing views, wonderful breakfast. It is unusual but lovely in every way. An unforgettable stay.

Sublime breakfast, stunning and cozy home, and, most importantly of all, a wonderful family of hosts. Staying with Alper and Merahat was among the top highlights of our trip.

Öncelikle ev sahiplerimiz bizi çok samimi ve sıcak karşıladı. Taş evde kaldık. Tüm küçük detaylarıyla büyüleyiciydi. Melahat abla ve Alper abi inanılmaz özverili ve özenli insanlar. Hiç yabancılık çekmedik. Kendimizi aile evimizde gibi hissettik. Kahvaltıda yapılan ürünler hepsi doğal ve kendileri tarafından yapılmıştı. Bittikçe tazeleme şansımız da vardı. Herşey o kadar lezzetliydi ki kahvaltı bitmesin istiyor insan. Avluda yaptığımız güzel sohbetler çok samimiydi. Bence burada kalmak bir ayrıcalık olabilir. Ayrıca konum olarak da her yerin ortasında gibi. İstediğimiz yerlere kısa sürede gidebildik. Bir dahaki konaklamayı sabırsızlıkla bekliyorum 🙏🏻🥰

The accommodation was charming, the hosting family is incredibly hospitable + they served yummy Turkish breakfasts and were very helpful! The location is great, you'll have breathtaking views of hills around while enjoying evening tea. Rooms are very stylish and a very good Instagram spot;) Highly recommend!

Alper and Melahat made a small heaven on Earth. I don’t remember where and when we had such a wonderful time at some stay, like at Güneş Butik Otel. The incredible amount of time and effort they invested in redecorating the old village house and welcoming their guests, made our stay absolutely fantastic. We crossed to Datça from Bodrum by ferry, drove our small scooter through amazing mountain landscapes, and reached a small village. Google Maps guided us well, and we came to Güneş Butik Otel. The place itself is three separate houses built on the hill slope, connected by old stone stairs, and surrounded by gardens with a wonderful view of the local mountains and olive trees. In the middle, there is a huge open-air kitchen with a huge terrace where we were enjoying our breakfasts. The place is made with so much love, effort and attention to detail that every centimetre is designed in Mediterranean style with Turkish decorative elements. Our apartment (a small mountain house) was really spacious, carefully redesigned, and perfectly clean, with a lot of natural light. The sounds of nature, the night Datça wind and the morning sound of birds, made our rest there absolutely wonderful. Every morning, Alper and Melhat served a delicious Turkish traditional breakfast, with a lot of locally grown products (never tried better olives in my life). They made us feel at home, with their friendly approach, the effort they are putting for every guest, and their unique approach to their small business. For us, they are one of the nicest and warmest people we meet on our journeys. They have an absolutely unique and personal approach to their guests, which makes this place one of the best we ever stayed in—really hoping to return to Datça again, not only because of Knidos, wonderful beaches and perfect mountains, but mostly because Güneş Butik Otel and Alper and Melahat. Thank you for everything, you made our time absolutely fantastic!

This is a brand new small hotel located around 4 km from Palamutbuku. It is authentic stone building, rooms are tastefully decorated, each one has a fridge, some have little kitchen and washing machine. Breakfast is home made and served in a beatiful common area, food is fresh and jams are the best! As coffee lovers we were pleasantly surprised that it is possible to order Americano and Latte (for a really good price!) as they are not always available in the local cafes. Alper and his wife has just opened this place and I think we were their 2nd guests. We were greeted and treated as old friends and had great time visiting their place. Totally recommend.

If you are travelling without car (as we were), transport may be a problem. To go on foot to the beach it will take you approximately 1 hour. You can rent electro scooter or take a taxi. There are local buses, but they run a few times a day and it is not always possible to catch them.
