Hongdae, Private Flats

Apartment is a large place close to transport and restaurants.

Unfortunately the area is quite noisy with motor scooters picking up stuff from around the flat. Also on Saturday night a nearby bar had music until 3am.

Easy self checked in, the super host with well spoken & written English will provide you the code to enter the property one day before your arrival. The only advise if you are planning lots of shopping, for heavy luggage are not advisable as there are staircases to shift your luggage when you check out the property. Unless there are hunk / men assisting you with the luggage, this property will be the perfect choice for a party of 2 to 4 pax ABnB. Thumbs up !!

Such a comfortable CLEAN and spacious home in a fabulous location. We loved it so much we cancelled accommodation in another part of Seoul to return here to Hongdae at the end of our South Korea trip. Excellent access to the train station, eateries, convenience store and plants of family friendly nightlife. With the station so close, you can explore all of Seoul easily. The station is also a common meeting place for a lot of tour group operators. The guesthouse is very private, soundproofed, and comfortable. Communication was easy, clear and timely.

- no lamp in living area - no TV - no reading lamps in bedroom - no teaspoons. Not a big deal, but the amount of times I needed one comes to mind. These aren’t complaints, more suggestions.

Clean and Spacious Apartment.

My fiancé and I stayed here for just over a week and had a great time in this apartment! It was very large and comfortable, with basically anything/everything you could want or need in the apartment. Air conditioners were great and cold, fridge was big, bathroom is nice. The location is absolutely amazing too, it’s about a 5-8 minute walk from Hongdae train station & the Main Street for Hongdae shopping, nightlife, food, etc. On the street where this apartment is, there are tons of great food & cafe options. There bus stops like 1 min walk from the apartment that are very convenient too. Really, it was an amazing spot and we highly recommend it!

Not much. Lack of a washer & dryer could be an issue for some guests but there’s a 24/7 laundry mat around the corner. Also most Korean homes don’t have driers, so it’s pretty normal. Slight gutter smell from the shower drain sometimes. Would be nice if it was a bit cheaper.

Incredible location, spacious loft style one-bedroom with extra sleeping space on the futon. Nicely furnished.

Check-in information received quite late which can be complicated when you fly in separately/ from far away. Would be difficult if you land without a working sim card.

The appartment was nice, clean and well-equipped. Location is great. It is close to metro station, there are several restaurants on the same street and much more in walkable distance. And awesome bakery around the corner. The street is generally peaceful and quite (= it is not a party street). The owner is nice and informs in understandable way. I would stay here again.

Even when you close all windows you can hear louder noises (like starting a motorcycle or yelling) form the street. The street it self is not noisy one. However not all customers of restaurants in the street are "the quite types", especially in Friday. Therefore you can be woken up by really loud chatting or motorbike. I didn't mind it, but people who has light sleep and takes them longer to fall asleep might mind it.
