Stanza Mylai Etna View

The owner left us an outstanding impression. He grew up there and took us on a tour throughout the entire Castelmola. It is a small village so he introduced us to his friends there which made the entire stay feel as if we were home. Castelmola is waaayy more quiet in comparison to Taormina so it guarantees you that local experience. Taormina is filled with tourist traps everywhere so it’s better to stay in Castelmola and catch the bus or walk down to Taormina. The view is unbeatable from the room, terrace and the courtyard. We were watching Etna erupt literally from our bed/terrace throughout the entire stay. It is a clean, modern property equipped with everything you may need, including wine/beer if you’d like to have it. It has air conditioning! Plenty of cats/dogs around to pet if you want, too 😂

The lovely host Alberto met us at the square to help us get through the village as an event was taking place and cars were being stopped .After showing us to the gorgeous apartment he travelled with us to the park the car . Then took us all around the village showing us different restaurants bars shops etc and introduced us to some locals. Such a exceptional welcome was much appreciated

Small but comfortable, quiet, nice and clean apartment with incredible views from the window and terrace. Very friendly and helpful host. It's hard to imagine more nice person :) The big advatage is the option to leave your car on a nearby private parking available for the small fee. Great location - bus transport to Taormina is very easy, charming mornings and evenings in Castelmola without crowds are unforgettable. We where sad that we stayed only for 3 nights ;)

Perfect location with great view of Etna..Very clean..Nicely furnished..will definitely go back.

A little small, but very much worth it.

The view. Brand new facilities, beautiful, clean and smelled good. Great welcome from Emily who even showed us around the town and granted us extra parking time.

On the small side. Cutlery and a coffee / tea machine would be a welcome addition 😉.

The location is just outstanding. The room is very nice, you have all you need. Highly reccomended!
