The only thing I liked were the exterior kitchen and living area.

I understand that in a climate like Bali, there will be challenges with the cleanliness and condition of rooms. However, my room smelled like mildew and really looked dingy. The location, though an appeal for some, was too hectic for me. I had booked for 4 nights but left after one. I just didn't feel comfortable

The place is fantastic!! value for money- super clean, lovely staff very friendly available 24 hours and the room clean every day is great- Anyone who doesnt give this place 5 stars needs to check their privilige as they are expecting too much for the price! For the price and what the place offers its exceptional and far exceeded any 4 and 5 star hotels and villas ive stayed in bali for both price and service and vlaue - its literally a 5-15 min walk to everywhere!! close to yoga barn, great restaurants like bonnie and suka and super close to supermarkets and shops!

I stayed here for a few months after searching to find ‘my spot’ in and around Ubud. It’s such a gorgeous space from the nature walkway leading in, to the green courtyard, outdoor kitchen, bath, large comfy bed, plenty of seating, complete serene privacy … with wifi! My online business involves a lot of video conferencing and the wifi was good. The pool was refreshing & long enough to do daily laps. The little street feels safe and friendly and is right off the main road. Everything you need is just right there … 1 minute walk each morning to my favorite cafe, Suka Espresso. The staff are super lovely and help with anything (I needed a different chair for my work & they arranged that for me). The room with all the glass is beautiful to chill, or work in, and kept very clean. I have stayed in 2 rooms here and felt at home and happy in both. Only left because I finally decided to explore more of Bali.

Not a complaint but good to know that you can sometimes hear music from the street - I liked the vibe and didn’t find it annoying.

I just loved the privacy I felt in this place! The location in the city is perfect to get anything you need within few minutes. And yet, it is hidden enough to be super quiet. I loved that my room was surrounded by the wall, so I could do whatever with full privacy. The stuff was extremely friendly, helpful and easy to reach via WhatsApp. The pool was not freshly painted (they apologized for that), but clean and very pleasant to spend time at. The prices for the services (breakfast, massage, mini-bar) are more than reasonable. Room No. 2 was not equipped with the newest furniture, but it was taken care of, so I cannot complain about it. Everything was clean and functioning and cozy. I was also provided with tea, coffee, sugar, salt'n'pepper (latest is rather seldom on Bali) and could use a fridge for keeping my drinks and fruit there. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. If I come back to Ubud at my next Bali trip, I will book at De'Dalam again.

I wish I had a broom at my room to clean the terrace without having to call stuff, but it's not a big deal.

I love the space. Bungalow has a terrace and outdoor kitchen, which is great, because sometimes it's nice to cook smth you got used to, or your special diet. so, I loved the fact that it is outside, because this way the smell will not spoil the room atmosphere )))) Staff is nice, friendly, helpful. it's cool that you are able to book extra service, like massage, laundry, breakfast. that's really nice, especially when you've just landed to Bali, have jet leg and no strength to look for smth by yourself. Though I'd say that laundry service is good, I wouldn't eve bother looking for smth else. Pool is good to have around, to chill, to tan, to swim, to gym ) I totally love the location. the fact that it's super close to main street, where tons of restaurants and mini-shops, it is pretty quite. I lived in villa 2, so it is close enough to the bar, so I have heard the music from it, but it stopped at 10-11 pm, so no problem at all.

neighbors ))) I am aware that it is not the hotel's fault, two weeks were idyllic. than, one Saturday morning at 8 am, some close resort decided to drill. and on Sunday also. I was freaking mad, upset, devasted. Oh boy, but what can we do, right? of course, obvious. Go out ))) to the monkey forest, which is close, or any other place in Ubud. oh well )))) oh, and yes, I wish my bungalow would be a bit more fresh ))) like walls need to be painted and refreshed, bedding sheets also are tired to serve people )))) but, I kind got used to it, cz the vibe of the place is amaze.
