The location is straight out of a fairy tale! And the owners go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Food was delicious, the room was comfortable, the view was magical. It all, a fantastic experience!

Comfortable beds, cozy lounge area. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and relaxing while sipping glasses of wine. The real stars though are the hosts!! I’ve traveled all over the world and stayed in all kinds of accommodations and never have I met such kind, attentive, warm and friendly hosts. Mauro and Magda and just delightful people, and we look forward to staying with them again next year.

minor…very minor and won’t prevent me from staying again, but I do wish that there were hot breakfast options.

They treated us like family. Simplicity. Authentic. Pillar, the sirname of the family is a well known name in Sappada. Local, local, local. We found out that the mother of the owner would prepare us a meal if we let them know in advance. Next year.

It would have been hard to say. We did not want a 4star hotel. This was a hotel that has been in the family for 4 generations. The owners were easygoing and hospitable. There was basically nothing that we did not like.

A cozy environment, with an amazing decoration. The food was great, but the most important thing: the hosts Mauro and Magda! They make the difference!
