Mill Cottage, Tunstall

The location is nice and peaceful. Didn't see anyone which is good. Left to enjoy the stay. Nice and remote. Easy to find

Cottage cold on arrival, door not secure, draughty, fridge dirty, cobwebs and lots of dust/dirt, chairs uncomfortable, tea pot badly stained, came back to find a mouse running about, traffic noise early in the morning. Missing handle for the oven tray. No oven gloves. Towels could do with being bigger (bath sheets). Could have had access to a hoover or broom. Rugs grubby. Brick floor uneven possible trip hazard in places.

Lovely quiet location

Wasn't very clean. Loads of spiders and spider webs that I removed on entry.

This was a lovely, self-catering Cottage which suited us perfectly for a short getaway.

A couple of small things. Providing a second wine glass, better info about the local area (nearby walks, etc.) would have been helpful.

Property let down by lack of attention to detail. Dining table way to big for such a small property. Seriously lacking in terms of kitchen utensils, no baking trays, storage boxes, etc. Property desperately needs blackout curtain liners. Would have been nice to have had an outside table and chairs.

Owners gave me a fan as it was extra hot weather. Tremendous place. Thank you. See you again.
