Hotel Lok Sagar Mysore

Wonderful hotel to relax in a busy city. The staff, especially Rajesh and Lakshmi really helped us out with booking a night bus. We couldn’t book without an Indian phone number. The system also didn’t like my email. So Rajesh got us a/c sleeper bus seats using the hotel email and phone number. He was a life saver! The breakfasts were fast and tasty. We meet lots of nice guests each morning. The hotel is known for being women and family friendly. As two women traveling independently we definitely felt safe there. The location is exceptional. Quick walk to the palace. Across the street from the art museum.

Zimmer leider direkt von einem Außenstrahler des Hotels illuminiert, auch bei geschlossenen Vorhängen daher noch taghell.

Chambre confortable et propre. Calme. Personnel de la réception très sympathique. Petit-déjeuner à l’indienne, mais bien. Bon prix.

Internet instable. Personnel du restaurant désagréable.

The hotel has an excellent location — just around the corner from the art museum and within walking distance of the Royal Palace and the market. The beds were comfortable and there was always hot water. Breakfast was decent. One of the gentlemen at the reception was particularly helpful, assisting us with bus bookings and taxi arrangements — thank you for that. The Wi-Fi connection, however, was quite weak.
