HERO VILLA ocean suite

Beautiful, well-equipped, stunning view across the ocean from the living area, you can walk on the rocks at low tide (no swimming). Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Location is a bit remote, but staff can call you a taxi (even ahead), they’re at the restaurant every day but Wednesday, from 930ishAM till 10PM. Staff usually don’t speak English much, but they’ll grab the translator machine immediately to talk with you. You can also walk 3 min to the main road and grab a taxi there (longest wait 4 min). When headed for the villa tell the taxi driver to go to Jigoro Beach (name of the restaurant) instead of Hero Villa. The restaurant is excellent, some taxi drivers and staff at other hotels know how good it is. Make a reservation as it’s usually fully booked!

The only thing I missed are beach towels, but we asked before going so we brought them ourselves.

Everything was perfect!

The location is beautiful and located close to the airport and port. Great for the family. Having the restaurant below was amazing and nice to come back from tours to the promise of a great meal.

The streets are tough to navigate

It's really nicely sized, clean, amazing view, it's situated on top of the restaurant.

For the price, they should cater to the guest a bit more. For instance they never asked us to make reservation and we weren't able to make them later even though the restaurant and hotel are the same.

Clean, comfortable, and spacious apartment with a lovely water view. All amenities are provided and it’s an easy drive to nearby stores, restaurants etc. The staff were terrific - friendly and helpful. They work at the restaurant below (which you cannot hear at all) and work hard. I ate at the restaurant downstairs and it was fantastic - fully booked every night and it’s understandable why. Delicious food and efficient, friendly service. I could not fault this place.

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at Hero Villa & Jigoro Ocean and had an excquisite experience. The villa is brand new and fully equipped, offers a fabulous view on the ocean and is tastefully decorated. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the wonderful Yaeyama Islands. We appreciated the quiet and authentic neighbourhood. The staff is incredibly kind and thoughtful, passionate and committed to create the best service. They took perfect care of us during the whole week (helping us to book taxi or sightseeing tours and providing great advice for the visits and so much more) and we had a lot of fun with them Thanks to the half board plan, we had the pleasure of tasting the restaurant's delicious cuisine.The dishes on the gourmet menu were varied, original and based on local produce. We highly recommend ! Overall we spent a magical week and already miss the team and the place ! thank you for everything guys :) Take care !
