The Old Lyme Brewhouse

From the moment we walked in, it was cosy, welcoming and clean. Real home from home, exceptional property. Location is superb and parking permit is an added bonus. It’s stylish, cosy and the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages.

Woodburner quite temperamental not as efficient as it should’ve been tbh and 2 of us knew how to manage it and still wasn’t great

The modern yet traditional feel about the whole property

We’ve been three times (so far!) because it’s a gorgeous house. It’s beautifully decorated and the garden is really nice. It’s so close to the town so popping to and fro is really easy. But it’s on an alley on a back street so really private.

It’s in no way a complaint because we knew the situation when we booked but you do have to park a little distance from the house up a really steep hill (they provide a parking permit which saves you a fortune in parking!). Loading and unloading is a little stressful as it’s a narrow road. Just plan those in and it’s no problem. The house is worth it.
