Makis Sea View Studios

Stunning views of the town and harbour. Very conveniently located, lovely decor and facilities. Very quiet - apart from the cicadas and occasional rooster! Extremely kind, attentive hosts. There was a bottle of chilled wine awaiting us on arrival. On our second day, our host kindly dropped in more coffee pods when we’d run out. Just before our departure, there was a little bag of goodies left hanging on the door as a farewell gift.

We loved the location at the top of the hill, because it was so quiet and peaceful with amazing views. But, the steep climb up the hill wouldn’t suit everyone, especially those with young children or mobility issues. That said, there were plenty of taxis and hire cars/bikes/scooters available.

We loved the sea view from the balcony, the silence and the kindness of the hosts! They were always helpful and they gave us many advices to spend our vacation in the best way! We will come back for sure!

Location is at the top of a very steep hill, worth it for the view but you do need a decent level of fitness to go back and forth several times a day, particularly in the heat.

Smallest of improvements to add to the apartment would be: A set of drawers to store underwear, T-shirts, etc. A tea towel and oven mitt in the kitchenette. A holder in the shower for soap, shampoo etc.

We had a wonderful time at Makis -stayed 9 nights in room 8. The studio was lovely - tasteful decor, comfy bed, great bathroom and kitchenette. View from the balcony over the town and sea was stunning and we enjoyed being so near nature with the olive grove and pines nearby. Watching the butterlies in the beautiful garden and listening to the cicadas and swifts flying overhead was magical. Katerina is a great host and her mum and Poppy the cleaner were lovely too. They were very generous providing us a complimentary bottle of wine and kindly sharing some of grandma's wonderful home cooking with us. Very easy check in - messaged Katerina when landed and she was there to meet us at the property. Makis is conveniently located for bus stop 4 and Megali Ammos beach (approx 10 mins walk down hill).

It didn't bother us but the walk up the hill could be a bit too much for those with mobility issues. Taxis are not too expensive though so always an option.

Underbart boende med utsikt i toppklass! Välutrustat kök, bra städning osv. Inget att klaga på!
