Testa's house Sorrento

Asunto oli kaunis, puhdas ja hyvin varusteltu ja oikein hyvällä paikalla

Asunnossa oli hyvin voimakas puhdistusaineiden tuoksu, jonka vuoksi sitä piti tuulettaa runsaasti. Parvekkeen katosta putoili laastia, mikä oli vähän pelottavaa.

Departamento cómodo,amplio.Cocina bien equipada.

El último día (hoy),se acabó el gas para cocina y ducha.Mi hijo se tuvo que duchar con agua helada. No nos dieron solución y dijeron que habíamos usado todo lo disponible en el termo.....y que el precio que habíamos pagado estaba bajo el precio de mercado.

Our host was so very welcoming and friendly. The apartment was very big with two massive bedrooms and a great kitchen. Oven worked a treat, gas cooktop was efficient for cooking. Fridge was full sized and worked very well, plus freezer section. Lovely big verandah to sit on and we found this relaxing of an afternoon or evening. Beds were very comfortable and linen was good quality. We really appreciated having the open hanging wardrobes in each room. The washing machine, located on balcony, was very handy, as well as the large clothes airer. Loved the quirky flower kitchen tiles, which gave the place a friendly and homely vibe.

Kettle didn't seem to work at all. We tried it in several powerpoints. Gas cooktop was fast though so we were able to boil water for cups of tea that way. There was no couch to relax on at night, however we were so tired that we didn't mind this.

We stayed there 6 nights. "Pros" : Full equiped appartment closed to the sorrento touristic center. Read the "cons" for more details :)

1) Strange communication with the guy in charge. First the arrival was a bit hasardous, we did not know exactly where to go as the appartment is in a large bloc and the guy was just waiting for us inside the appartment. He also made a remark that we did not mention our 6 months baby in the booking, but we never asked anything for him. Then he answered our few requests during our stay but we always had the impression to disturb him each time he had to do something for us. 2) The second room could have a sofa-bed so that it could be used as a comfy room with a sofa if you book only for 1 bedroom. 3) There is no parking. 4) when you add the city tax that we were not aware of while doing the booking, the final price is quite high.
