Jättetrevligt ställe där Isabell (ägaren) fick känna oss varmt välkomna. Toppen läge i medinan och med fin havsutsikt från rummet. Takterrassen där man kan både äta frukost och beundra solnedgången är jättetrevlig. Hemtrevligt.

La situation, avec vue sur l'océan, au sein de la Médina, près du port.

Vu les prix pratiqués (ceux d'un 4 ou 5 étoiles), on espère, outre la situation, bénéficier de confort et services. Le loft est en très mauvais état (châssis pourris, équipement plus que vieilli), on a l'impression que rien n'a été amélioré ou entretenu depuis plus de 10 ans ! Pas de pompe à chaleur, en hiver un petit radiateur à huile insuffisant au point qu'on nous propose doudounes et couvertures supplémentaires pour ne pas geler la nuit. Vu la situation et la surface vitrée, on imagine un four en été. Gérante qui tente de combler les lacunes en insistant avec excès sur les qualités inexistantes du bien. Petit déjeuner minimal pour un pays où l'on a droit partout à un accueil chaleureux, même dans les lieux retirés sans grande prétention touristique. Bref, plus que surfait, rapport qualité-prix nul.

Isabelle is a perfect host, with a great sense of humour and a gift for putting you at ease instantly. Wonderful views, great breakfasts, sunsets, brilliant location on the edge of medina. I wish I’d booked more nights…

A magical place overlooking the ocean. A special artistic place for gourmets of style, where to treat your eyes, body and soul. The host Izabella is incredibly kind and caring. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the ocean and enjoying the sunset in the evening.

Such a beautiful situation right in front of the sea. The guest house was right in the heart of the Medina. It was so special. One of the most memorable places we have ever stayed. The lovely suite opened onto the terrace overlooking the sea. Everything was perfect. Isabelle, our hostess, was utterly charming and looked after our every need including excellent advice regarding the town, guides, and where to eat. We certainly recommend this special place!

A few stairs to reach our room, but worth the effort.

Beautiful accommodation. The view at the roof terrace is otherworldly. Very clean - the place is thoroughly cleaned everyday - and the breakfast is very good. Isabelle has a sense of hospitality that is "hors catégorie". I am a solo traveler, and Isabelle and Abdelkader really took care of me; it felt like a sanctuary. Isabelle gives great recommendations on where to eat. One day Isabelle took me to the market to buy some fish, chose a restaurant for me where they grilled the fish and even showed me how to eat sardines the Moroccan way. Do visit the hammam, Isabelle makes reservations. My only regret is that I did it the last day of my stay, otherwise I would have definitely done it again.

Beautiful view and great host!

This is the eclectic and bohemian home of Isabelle, your charming host (and her art collection). You have a private bedroom suite, and share a living room and all open areas with a handful of guests. including the open roof terrace, which may have the best view in Essaouira. The host is a delight and makes great food and visit recommendations . We loved our week here and hope to return.

Essaouira’s a long way from home ….

I think this is the best riad that I have been stayed .I enjoyed the terrace and chilled out .It has good view and very close to Atlantic Ocean. Isabelle is very good host who treat me like family. Breakfast is so nice and yummy. I recommend here to all friends !!!
