Sun and Sand Apartment

Exceptional value for money. Large space for a good price with 2 bedrooms. Comfortable rooms and perfect for a short stay. You live up in upper apartment and downstairs lives a family. I always enjoy staying in such places. Location is great few minutes walking away from the Ahangama centre.

If I want to stay for a longer time I would like hot water

This large apartment was in a great location the other side of ahangama rail station. It was a 2 minute walk to the main road and there were plenty of restaurants, cafes and a Cargills supermarket. The noise from the trains sounded like a plane landing outside but they quieten down at night. The kitchen was well equipped so I could cook for the week with ease. The owners live downstairs and were so lovely, I could use their washing machine for free, and when I wanted to make sambol they grated a coconut for me. When we had a powercut they let me know beforehand, and the next day when the country lost power in the evening they gave me some candles so I could still see what I was doing :)

I didnt realise that there were only ceiling fans in the 2 bedrooms, not the rest of the apartment, so I spent most of my time in the bedroom as it was just so hot. I opened all of the windows one day during a power cut and unfortunately the macaque monkeys came inside the apartment, so I was forced to close everything up and didn't want to open most of the windows again after that. The curtains were just net curtains, so I was wing around 5:45 with the sunrise and noise of the birds and dogs, so bring earplugs if you need silence. I put some sheets on the windows which helped to keep it darker.

i loved the geographical situation of the appartment, very central in Ahangama, we could walk easily to the restaurant and to go surfing in Marshmallow we had a full flat for us , including a kitchen to eat delicious avocados and mangos the host were very nice and helpful the flat was clean fan included

Great location in Ahangama walking distance to the beaches and local shops. The family seemed very nice and the apartment is huge and great value for money.

Just needs a sign outside so it is easier to locate.

It was the best quality on this trip. Friendly host, clean and spacious with 2 bedrooms. The town of Ahangama and the beach are just a few minutes walk away, which is very convenient.

We really liked the spot. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need; equipped kitchen, fridge, dining room, living room, balcony and two bedrooms. I stayed together with my partner and we enjoyed it a lot. the family is exceptionally nice and attentive. it’s basically in the city centre and you can find everything you need within max 5 minutes walk; market, cafes, surf spots etc. will be back for sure
