Happy Days Guest House

Room was nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast was basic but good. Parking on the street, good location.

We were informed that check-in is only possible after 6 pm. Loud AC right above the bed.

Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Amazing view. Good location for base for exploring the southwest of the island (need car to get around, but a few restaurants in walking distance). Very clean. Would stay there again.

The place exceeded our expectations. Firstly, I'd like to mention the location of the accommodation. It's situated in a calm part of the island, close to the most beautiful and peaceful beach and also various shops and restaurants. The surroundings are perfect for relaxation. The apartment itself was very comfortable and well-equipped. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean. Additionally, the breakfast served at the accommodation was delicious and offered a variety of options, including fresh fruits, pastries, and local specialties. It was a great way to start our days of exploring the island. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Throughout our holiday, they took care of our comfort. I have to give a special shout-out to Sabrina, who was amazing. She made it possible for us to check in early which we appreciated so much. She also provided us with tips in the next part of the island. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay in La Gaulette and would definitely return. I recommend this accommodation for those looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay in Mauritius.

Unfortunately without a car it’s really difficult to get somewhere that’s why it’s so peaceful. You can go by bus but that takes time. Otherwise you need to rely on taxi.
