The appartement is spacious, very clean, well decorated, confortable and extremelly well located, at the center of Ortigia. There is a wonderful rock beach litteraly 3 minutes away from the appartement. Antonio was very nice and super helpful. We highly and warmly recommend him and Porta del Mare.

Our flight was cancelled due to a French air traffic controller strike 😝and we had to take an overnight train to Siracusa. Antonio met us at the train station and drove us to the property. The space is recently renovated, spacious, and appointed with everything you need. The location is perfect - in the heart of Ortigia but not on a busy Main Street. Highly recommended.

Nothing to dislike here

The property is located on the eastern side of Ortigia, away (yet within walking distance) from the crowded & lively streets of central and western parts. Very convenient to walk around Ortigia. We also walked from the apartment to the Basilica Santuario Madonna Delle Lacrime on Siracusa It is a very comfortable, clean and roomy 2 bedroom apartment with a well equipped kitchen and large high ceiling rooms. The hosts met us at check-in and check-out. The provided clear instructions of how to drive into Ortigia (a restricted ZTL area) so we could unload. Afterwards they accompanied us to the parking area (Talete Parking) and showed us how the parking worked. It is a 5-7 minute walk from the apartment along the sea-front. We were impressed how quiet the apartment was at night (despite a loud neighbourhood well past midnight) once you shut the doors and switched on the air-con

To get decent water pressure on the higher floor where the apartment is located the host has installed a pump - some people may find the noise of the pump disconcerting as it kicks in every time you open a tap.
