The Bungalow, Lingdale

Ideal, quiet location close to a public park and quiet lane for walking the dog. Being able to stay in a bungalow was a pre-requisite for our stay. Good layout and garden space. Friendly neighbours. Fish and chip shop a short walk away.

The driveway wasn’t long enough for the car. The dining chairs seat cushions were sagging and uncomfortable. There weren’t enough dinner plates for four people. There were gaps under the garden hedge making it not a secure space for a dog. The £10 extra nightly fee for a pet should be an option or stated in the initial booking rather than needing a further enquiry and extra payment. There was no ventilation possible in the kitchen as the window was locked. Broken and poorly fixed floor trim in the lounge doorway.

Everything was good for the reasons we were there .

TV reception is very poor so entertaining the children was difficult at times.

Excellent location. Quiet, safe and easy to visit surrounding areas. Plenty of supermarkets within 10 min drive. Property was large and bright. Very helpful to have a drive at the property but would not fit a large / long car

Wifi was very poor and very low phone signal in area so not great of reliant on this for work etc Sofa and seats at the table were very uncomfortable and felt as though all the support had gone in them. Garden could use some furniture / grass cutting to make it user friendly as would have been lovely to sit outside in the sun Lots of dog fur over cushions / throws on sofa from previous guests

Location was okay handy for Saltburn, Marske etc. Enclosed garden was great for the dog. Clean property

Advertised as pub in village but this has been closed for ages. Parking very tight. Didnt receive details of key code until 3.25 when entry is supposed to be at 3.00. Television reception was not great and kept cutting out.

It was spacious, quiet, near to where we were going.

Single beds were extremely uncomfortable. I came away with a bad back. TV didn't work and the door lock was so hard to lock/unlock - I thought I was in danger of breaking the key.

The bungalow was clean and well equipped, good location for Saltburn, Whitby etc.

Great location for us. Having somewhere to park was important to us. Would come again.

Wifi could be a bit slow. But not a deal breaker.
