Faraway Cottages, Auli

Its a beautiful property with an astounding views of the Himalayas. The cottages are very nicely done. They are equipped with all amenities one needs for a comfortable stay. Their service is top notch and the food is delicious. Although we stayed just for one day, it was hard for us to say good bye to the stunning views and our cozy cottage.

Absolutely stunning property! The rooms are exquisite - high ceilings, rustic interiors and looking towards gigantic mountains and beautiful scenery. It offered the calmness much needed in life to unwind from busy city life. The food is delicious and we enjoyed our meals looking over the mountains. Would totally recommend someone to plan their stay in this cozy, amazing property.

There is nothing not to like about the property. As you reach, you are welcomed by warm and friendly staff.

Just that it’s little inside and road to get there needs little work but that’s not in hand of property owners

Food can be better but it is good esp local preparations.

The view and food are the highlight of the place, rest is average and not worth the spend

The road to the hotel is a nightmare, you need a strong car, rooms are located at a lower level and the climb up is a challenge, there is one toilet in the family room which becomes difficult in the morning. The wash basin was leaking and there was no exhaust fan.

We had a amazing stay at Faraway Cottages. When we entered the property, we were pleasantly surprised to see such attention to detail and facilities in a remote location like Auli. The staff is highly attentive, and took care of all our small needs. The views are breathtaking and food is to die for. The rooms are elegantly furnished and comfortable. We were travelling with our toddler and thoroughly enjoyed being there.
