Brook the Shepherd Hut

Perfect location , comfortable accommodation. Everything thought of. The tasty food was a lovely touch.

The Shepherd hut is beautiful and located in a lovely spot. The hut is well laid out and has the benefit of a proper bed and a lovely bathroom. Sandra provided some welcome treats, scones, cream and jam, butter, milk, bacon and eggs. Some fresh home made bread too. We had a very pleasant few days stay and would highly recommend Brook the Shepherd Hut.

Every inch of space is so well thought out and used to the best advantage so it’s got everything you need. The shower was hot and better than lots in hotels.

Nothing really other than pulling out onto the main road can be a bit tricky but that’s it.

Luxurious and comfortable with many added extras that made our stay feel special

Not on a nearby running route - but that would be expecting far too much. This is NOT a criticism.

Upon arrival I was greeted by the family who were extremely welcoming. The accommodation was a complete surprise in the attention to detail and fantastic layout. Unlike many one night stays I have had in other properties at twice the price, I enjoyed a great nights sleep and wanted for nothing. Will be booking again and would recommend to any of my friends and family.

Friendly hosts, great atmosphere. They gave us free bacon eggs and milk for breakfast which was very kind. Very clean, everything you need in the Shepards hut. We’ve stayed in a few shepards huts before but this was by far our favourite.
