Sunset house near Sunday River Black Montain

Freshly updated and very clean house. Well stocked kitchen with new appliances that has everything you might need. We stayed for the ski trip , it was around 30 min to the Sunday River ski which was not too bad. We liked our stay and highly recommend it

Everything is brand new! All the appliances, every one, still has the protective film over a screen if it has a screen. We were visiting friends who were cooking, so we never used any of the new stuff except the microwave. The kitchen had everything you needed, plus spices, salt, coffee, etc. big kitchen and huge new fridge. There is a dining room with a large wooden table and benches. Seats 8 to 10 probably, we didnt eat there. Washer and dryer, brand new! Everything was clean, neat, and organized! TV was new but we didn't even turn it on, too busy to watch. The owner is very friendly and responsive. There is a lockbox on the front door to get the key. There is a game room with a pool table, foosball and air hockey. We played lots of pool. Beds were big and comfortable, pillows were great, lots of blankets. There were 2 bedrooms each with 2 beds, and one bedroom with one king or queen not sure. I would not hesitate staying here again if I visit my friends. About 30-40 mins to Sunday River.

None of these are deal breakers but, The game room does not have heat, so you have to wear a sweatshirt or something. It's like 50 in there. It is tight for some shots on the pool table, but it is the same for everyone. The thermostat is a nest, and it is programmed to turn off every so often, so you set it to 70, go to bed, and wake up and it is 57. It got to 70, but then shut off overnight, so you reset it when you wake, or it is set not to run btw 12am and 7am, not sure. I just kept resetting to 70 and we were fine. Once you know this it is not a big deal.

The property was extremely spacious - all the kitchen utilities and appliances were wonderful. Having the laundry machine and detergent provided was an amazing benefit and was very convenient. The location is great, the modern thermostat and electric fireplace made the home very comfortable, and we had a great time! there was plenty of space in the driveway, and the additional sunroom was amazing. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
