Ich war zum 5. Mal hier. Ein sehr gemütliches Hotel zum entspannen. Normalerweise Esse ich nicht im Hotel. Aber hier ist das Essen wirklich gut und sehr günstig.

This is the worst hotel I've stayed in for many years. The main reason is the incessant non-stop noise from the bars directly opposite the hotel from 5 pm all the way to 2 am in the morning. Can't understand all the high ratings this hotel has been given due to this major problem. The moment I entered the place at 5 pm I had a gut feeling something was wrong as there was loud music with heavy bass beat coming from the bars. The hotel personal informed me the music would stop at midnight, however at midnight the music was still playing ! It was only at just past 2 am that the last bar decided to turn off the music. I would also like to point out that after 9 pm all the staff had deserted the premises. Was going to be a 2 night stay, but left the next day after one night, it was a huge relief.

Breakfast was reasonable, but very small, and personally I don't consider lettuce to be part of a breakfast. Expensive for Thailand.

Tea or coffee wasn't included in the breakfast, which is ridiculous. 2 cups of tea costs more than the breakfast! The pool is quite dirty looking and I wouldn't go in it. Plenty of people did, and they probably risked ear infections. I stayed at Tony's last year and I loved it. It's more rundown now, the streets are filthy, presumably because of dry mud dust after months of flooding. But it's the responsibility of the local authorities to clean them. There are more, generally very poor, incredibly noisy restaurants/bars literally outside Tony's doors. The noise reverberates throughout the hotel, sometimes until 03. 00 am. It's terrible!
