The location couldn’t be better – groceries, small shops, restaurants and cafés just a few steps away. Cathedral is a 3 minutes by walk. I felt comfortable and safe. The bed is upstairs, completely quiet. I haven’t slept this well in a long time. Great value for money. A very kind and caring owner. I will definitely come back and recommend staying at this place for more than 2 nights - Ortigia is magical.

Romantic, lovely and charming apartment in the center of Ortigia, nicely furnitured in antique/modern-mix style and absolutely clean. Very friendly owner and care-taker welcoming the guest for example with fresh fruit from the market. Modern electronic security system, air condition with warm air in winter, updated bathroom with hair dryer, comfortable king-size bed and sofa and a kitchen equipped with microwave, oven, huge fridge, and enough cutlery and dishes. Clothes stand, iron and power adapter in the room.

The perfect location and the quiet night’s sleep I got! The bed was so comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen too. Fast response from the owner when I had questions. I’d stay again.

The apartment looks exactly like the presentation pictures, there is plenty of space and all the necessary amenities. The location is perfect in the heart of Ortigia, close to all the restaurants and 2 steps away from Piazza del Duomo. The entrance to the apartment is from a charming little courtyard. The host gave us all the necessary instructions and explanations so we can have a confortable stay. The bathroom is modern, with a spacious shower, good water pressure and a large window. In the kitchen we found all instruments we could need, but we did not cook. The fruits and water left by the host for us were a very nice touch. There is air conditioning both downstairs and upstairs and they cool the place down perfectly in the heat of summer. The bedroom is the best part of the apartment, the bed is super confortable and there is very little light so you can have a great sleep. There is also a full length mirror and sufficient space on the bedside tables, which is wonderful.

There was nothing to see on TV one day when we could not walk anymore and just wanted to rest on the sofa.

Nothing really.. everything was good. Could have left a bit of salt pepper and olive oil for basic cooking. Otherwise lovely place..

It was a little difficult to find the property, but no issues once somebody local was able to help me.

Lovely place to stay and the best location!

A lot of cat poo in the alley outside, so we couldn't sit outside because of the smell. But everything in the building and the location was amazing.

The self check-in was super convenient, and the host willing to help in any way. The apartment was quiet, very clean, and in a great location, close to everything. We very much appreciated the bottled water and fruit in the fridge!

What a perfect place. Very comfortable ,spacious and quiet . Lot's of delicious fruit in the fridge. Great communication for arrival and departure.

I’m particularly tall and the ceilings were low in the upstairs room, but that didn’t really matter as the rest of the house was fine.
