As a woman, I did not feel safe during self check-in. - A man associated with the residence (he had a badge and was at the security desk), who was supposed to “assist with check-in”, followed me into the building and made me extremely uncomfortable with repeated, unwanted physical contact including inappropriate touching in deeply sensitive areas around my lower back. I did my best to keep my distance, but without success, especially as he followed me all the way to the apartment. - The key was not placed in the secure lockbox as advertised, but left in an open mailbox accessible to anyone in the building (a 20+ story building). I felt so unsafe and shaken that I had to leave and urgently booked another place at my own expense. When I informed the host, my concerns were dismissed, he told me that the man's presence was normal, and I felt he did not understand the seriousness of what had happened. I do not recommend this property, especially for female travelers.
