Bishop's Little Palace

Location was fine as visiting family.

The house seemed to be a 'work in progress' we had problems with the bathroom door sticking which the host reimbursed us for one nights stay when I got trapped in the bathroom !! they assured me the door has now been fixed. They need to put chairs in the bedrooms for people to put clothes etc on. The kitchen cupboards smelt strongly of curry !! All in all the cupboards and wardrobes needed a good clean and de - cobwebbing ! and it needs blinds in the bathroom and kitchen for added privacy.

Great location, clean & comfortable.

Could use a fan in the master bedroom & different curtains as to not interfere with air flow from outside. Screens would also be a bonus.

Very comfortable 2 bedroom house near the centre of Bishop Auckland. Property was warm and comfortable with good kitchen facilities. Bed was very comfortable and the street was quiet at night so we had good nights sleep. 5 Minutes drive away from Bishop Auckland Golf Club which we would highly recommend visiting.

The entrance into the street to access the property was quite narrow with cars parked at each side. We managed to park on all occasions when we returned from trips however but not always directly outside the property.

Very central for facilities, parking right outside, they gave us a cot and high chair which was a big relief. Ther dishwasher worked like a dreamand very comfortable beds. Home from home, which was ideal
