The Annex Rose Cottage

Gorgeous location away from everything! Lovely and quiet. Nancy and Paddy were great. Enjoyed peaceful time with our dogs to go on and walk some beautiful scenic paths.

A welcoming host and a cosy and clean cottage. Loved the history and the level of comfort.

The location was great, beautiful views and very comfortable. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. There was an empty cupboard in the kitchen which we used for the food we bought with us which is something self catering properties very rarely think of plus extras like picnic accessories. Dog friendly with use of the garden and patio area.

Cleanliness

We couldn't fault the hosts Paddy and Nancy, they went out of their way to accommodate us. They were friendly and welcoming. The cottage was well equipped with everything you need and in a very pretty location.

Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night out of three as my elderly mother couldn't access the stairs to the toilet very well (my fault for not looking for disability accessible accommodation) so not the fault of the property.

What an amazing property! I was greeted and felt welcomed. The host was very open with the communication about me being allergic to pets and also the possibility of getting there late. I felt comfortable there. The room was impeccably clean. I am a clean freak and not one hair in the bathroom! The bed smelled good, I just prefer softer beds and pillows. The bathroom (like I said, beyond clean) was very nice, shower pressure excellent and very hot water. We slept with the windows open because we like it cold and it was wonderfully quiet and birds sang in the morning. I felt very safe, parking was available and also felt safe. Great location. The kitchen is super stocked with everything item you need to cook, even oil! No one does that anymore.
