Ana's Place Apartments

Definitely one of those places that you tell everyone about. The view over the town, harbour and beach is to die for. The room was comfortable, new and clean. There was covered parking, safe and inside the property. The area is very safe.

As far as self-catering goes, there is only a small bar-fridge and a small microwave oven. We did not have braai facilities either. Some of the other units did have, so just check if this is important to you. The couch in our unit was very uncomfortable, and could probably be upgraded.

The access gate is too tight for a 5m+ vehicle.

The view from the property is spectacular, friendly staff and very convenient location!

The apartment felt quite sparse, which caused sound to echo through the hallways. There is no air conditioning, and the fan provided was dusty. Although the property is advertised as self-catering, the supplies were very limited. Hot water in the kitchen tap took a long time to come through, and the water pressure was very low. The sofa/sleeper couch was uncomfortable to sit on. The patio has great potential, but it would add significant value to include a braai, a table, an umbrella, and more comfortable outdoor furniture so guests can properly enjoy the view. Block-out blinds or curtains are also recommended, as the current blinds are see-through and do not block light in the evenings or early mornings. Overall, the apartment would benefit from additional furniture and improved amenities.

The view was spectacular from number 8, although the steep drive up and into the facility is hectic. Beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and had a fabulous time.

A table outside would be nice to eat at. The shower needs a bath mat. The tiles are very slippery when wet. The bathroom needs a basket to put dirty clothes in, especially for people staying longer. A rack would be welcome for drying dishes. May I also suggest some shelves next to the fridge for groceries. There is enough space.
