"Divers paradise"

10.0

A great dive centre with a good dive master (Jerry) which made our dives enjoyable. Food was always aplenty and the amenities were the best we had stayed at, with our own shower, toilet, fresh and hot water. The reception was helpful in answering any questions we had and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

"Find a Homestay"

3.0

The hotel staff was incredible, separate from the dive staff.

If you want to experience Raja Ampat, skip the dive resorts. There's nothing to see below 10 meters anyway. The dive resorts are unsustainable in every way, and the money doesn't go to the local villages. Go find a homestay and bring your snorkeling gear. The homestays are wonderful and some of their home reefs are better than the top "diving destinations."

"Just amazing"

10.0

The location is amazing, with a private beach with white sand. They have a jetty from where one can see some mind blowing sunsets and some crazy sun rises. The staff is amazing, the most beautiful people I have ever encountered in my life. Hope to come back there soon.

"Superb"

9.0

Very nice location, decent house reef for snorkelling. Food was excellent. Good wildlife on site and in the local area (bird watching points close by) Fruit bats in the evening, cuscus every so often too! The huts were all superb and well maintained and clean and all unique (we got to see inside several of them!!) Having a raised walkway off the sand did help with keeping the rooms and areas clean. The resort area was well maintained and raked and clean.

Breakfast options compared to lunch and dinner was a bit lacking. If the resort spent a bit of time raking and cleaning the “beach” area as well as the resort grounds this would have made a massive difference to the visual aspect of the whole experience. A couple of nice sun loungers would have been a very welcome addition as currently all options are sit up straight chairs in the communal area or on the huts balcony. Snorkeling on the house reef needs to be timed with higher tides (ladder from the jetty is to high to reach at low tides!!) and currents to wash away the unfortunate floating debris (both natural and plastics) Good timing resulted in clean clear waters and great snorkeling. We found that Morning was best every day we were there (5 nights)

"The most natural place on the planet. Natual serenity."

7.0

The isolation and 110% natural location of the resort is unequalled anywhere I have ever stayed before. Walking 20 seconds from my room to be on the beach.

Communication between the resort (on site) and service manager (via WhatsApp, though based in Jakarta) was delayed and disconnected. Different things were said by different parties constantly. This lead to confusion especially where transport to/from the resort was concerned.
