The Cosy Norse Retreat

In a wonderful spot right next to "Bishy Road" and a short walk to the city centre. Lots of space compared to a hotel room and for the same price (cheaper in our case as we got a special price). What's not to like? It will also sleep four if necessary.

There were a few minor cleaning issues. The 'fridge had some old, spilled milk on a shelf which clearly had been missed, plus a little dust here and there. There was some paint chipping and marks here and there. The bathroom is on a lower floor than the main bedroom. Not an issue for us, but others may not be so keen.

Fab location easy walking access to centre and a vibrant local street round the corner. Great apartment, clean and well equipped and lovely and warm. Host was very accommodating. Would definitely return

sofa bed not good and curtains poor and falling off. Bedding really poor quality . Which was a shame as let it down as apart from that really nice flat.

It felt like a home away from home.

Just the right distance out of town and in a nice area.

Fare to warm and unable to open widows in the living room.

Great location. Everything you need for a weekend away. Bed was comfy, great living space to people watch. Fantastic restaurants around the corner. Good location for York park run!

Not a lot. Starting to look a bit tired but nothing hindered a great stay.
