Room is clean and has everything you need. The building has rice fields on one side and a canal on the other side, so the views are stunning from whatever room you book. And Robin is the most helpful person you'll come across, making sure you have everything you need, helping you book tours that fit your wishes and budget, finding the right onwards transportation and giving local recommendations. I'd highly recommend this homestay! Make sure you book the option with AC this time of the year.

Robin and Rino had really thought about the needs of his guests. My room had a very comfortable bed, there was a fridge in common area, a hairdryer and two comfy seats and a small table. Breakfast was substantial with a savoury option plus eggs, toast and tea and coffee. Robin also offered tourist bookings and the tickets he got for us at the theatre were excellent - front row. The accommodation was well placed for a 10 minute walk to a variety of restaurants and there were tuk tuks readily available for longer journeys.

What a lovely place! We are so happy we chose to stay here during our time in Alleppey. We stayed for two nights but we felt so at home that we wish we had stayed longer! The room is comfortable and extremely clean and has everything you need - a small desk, a place to store your luggage, air conditioning, comfortable mattress, clean bathroom with hot water. Rino and Robin are some of the kindest people you will meet and they will make sure you have everything you need. They have information on activities in Alleppey and will help with your plans. Don’t miss trying the Kerala breakfast - their mom is a great cook! The location is also nice with views of the backwaters right from the porch. Thank you for a great stay - we hope to return!

We had an amazing stay at Paddy N Canal Homestay. Our host was lovely, welcomed us with Chai tea, willing to help as much as possible notably when we had to rush to bus station he brought us there in order not to be late. The rooms are perfectly clean and AC works well, good mattresses. Very nice terrasse. I'd definitely come back if I stay in Alleppey.

This accomodation is just amazing. Rooms are very comfortable and clean with much space. The owner is very very friendly and helpful and makes sure you will enjoy your stay. He organized serveral tours for me to explore the incredible backwaters. Also the Homestay provides delicious breakfast and chai at all time. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Alappuzha. Felt very welcomed here

Great new homestay right next to the Canal run by three brothers ( and their mother) and they are all very good to deal with. The room was spotless, like brand new, everything was very tidy with a comfy mattress and the smell of freshly laundered sheets and towels. The mother cooks lovely food and they do a Kerala breakfast option. The fridge has treats you can buy if you want a snack and there's free tea and coffee. Hot water whenever you want. AC in the room but we didn't use it with a great fan pushing the air around. Robin the youngest brother runs everything so well and is easy to contact with any questions, his English is really good and he helped us organise a boat trip with Saiju around the canals and backwaters in his little boat with breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. What a lovely guy he was and he picked us up and dropped us off right at the front door of the homestay! There is no high pressure sales at all, The homestay has a book you can look through with different activities if you want. The brothers have a lot of local knowledge having grown up locally. We wanted dinner one night and were too tired to go out so Robin ordered us in food from a local restaurant. Another night Robin pointed us towards a local restaurant (Thamina) that just did Kerala food which was awesome and so cheap ! We extended our stay and ate here twice.

Alleppey is hot this time of year, no fault of the property of course, we spent afternoons in the room under the fan so if you come in March be prepared for the heat ! Also when you are walking around town there's a few mosquitoes so bring some repellant.

Lovely rooms in a stunning location - it really does have a view of both canal and paddy fields. The hosts are super helpful and friendly. There are excellent value breakfasts available - great to have a western option for a change. Highly reccomended. Nothing better than sitting on the roof watching the bats wake up as the sun sets.

What a lovely little homestay! Perfect for a trip to the backwaters. The bus station is a 3-5 minute walk, restaurants are within 15 min walk, and a small canal and rice field are on your door step! Robin and his brothers are simply wonderful. They're very kind and welcoming, helping book/give information about tours or transport. I could use the room until the afternoon (big thanks for that!!) Robin drove me to some local shops, and there's also a refrigerator with some drinks and snacks that you can purchase. A towel and soap was also provided. I highly recommend staying here !!

Maybe the rooftop could have different chairs? (Only improvement I could think of!)

We loved everything about this place. The brothers running this place are so hospitable and friendly and they took very good care of us. Robin got us the best price and a better boat than we had been offered elsewhere for an overnight. I highly recommend the Kerala breakfast they offer, it's home cooked, delicious and a bargain. Keep up the good work
