"An okay stay"

Nice view of the lake; in a vineyard.

If you don't have a car, you need to rely on Ubers to move around. The pizza restaurant within the vineyard isn't good.

"Alles in allem ein schöner Ort für einen kurzen Aufenthalt"

Eine super schöne und kleine Unterkunft mit toller Terrasse. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und groß. Das Personal war super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit.

Durch den See vor der Terrasse, hatten wir einige Moskitos in unserem Zimmer, was nachts weniger schön war. In der Dusche ist der Wasserdruck sehr gering gewesen, weshalb es für Frauen mit längeren oder dickerem Haar lange dauert, um Haare zu waschen. Das Frühstück war in unseren Augen auch sehr sehr beschränkt. (Toast, abgepackter Joghurt, muffins), keinerlei Aufstrich oder ähnliches..

"Een heerlijke locatie met vriendelijk personeel en prachtig uitzicht vanaf je terras."

De locatie en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel. De kamers waren ook erg schoon.

Wij zaten in de Chardonnay. Mooie ruime kamer , maar het ophangpunt van de airco is pal boven ons hoofd en de afstelling was recht naar beneden , dus zeer koude wind op je gezicht. Moet anders ingesteld worden , zodat de luchtstroom recht naar voren gaat . Verder zaten wij op de hoek, dus het terras was aan drie kanten open. De wind kwam voornamelijk van links, was s'avonds vaak te fris om lekker op het terras te zitten. Een windscherm of iets dergelijks had fijn geweest. Verder was de afstap vanaf het terras naar het gras te hoog. Een afstapje zou zeer handig zijn. De andere kamers in het midden hadden wel een afstap. Het ontbijt was zeer basic. Eieren lekker, maar verder weinig overig beleg. Prijs vrij hoog tegenover wat je er voor krijgt.

We had a wonderful stay at Under Oaks Guesthouse and would happily come back anytime. The setting among the vineyards is beautiful and incredibly peaceful – the perfect place to unwind. The wine tasting is fantastic, and since this was already our second visit, it was very special to share this place with our family. Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, breakfast was delicious, and the whole atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. A perfect spot to relax and explore the Winelands – highly recommended! ✨

Herrliche Lage mit Blick auf den See. Freundliches Personal. Sehr gute Pizzeria.

Das Frühstück war etwas schlicht. Die Beleuchtung im Bad ist suboptimal (Lampe von hinten).
