"beautiful place, felt very cosy"

10.0

Very nice room for a family as it was two rooms, two bathrooms joined together plus an extra small room which was great for our stuff. Also, tea making facilities and WiFi. all very good and clean. Breakfast was booked by us additionally : had a big bowl of fruits and joghurt everyday which was fantastic, plus toast, cereal and croissants, tea and coffee.

We love the location of the property. It's not with the crowd which what we are hoping for. It is located in Truro which is a bonus because we get to explore the town, plus the stunning cathedral. The owner of the property are kind. They will welcome you but give privacy. The place is accessible to all major roads to go to anywhere in Cornwall. We will definitely comeback next year.

The power outage during our last night but I guess it's not their fault.

"Beautiful, relaxing environment - perfect for a family"

10.0

I cannot recommend this delightful Cornish B&B highly enough. The charming spot offered the perfect balance of comfort, character, and warm hospitality. Conveniently located for the venue where we attended a wedding (Barn at Pengally), it was also perfectly located for a visit to Truro and to Fraddon - where there are a hosts of shops, if you need anything. Even prior to arrival, communication from the hosts was excellent and no question was left unanswered. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home. The hosts were genuinely welcoming—friendly without being intrusive—and clearly take great pride in what they do. The rooms were immaculate, full of character and tastefully decorated in keeping with the style of the property. The bed was very comfortable and the peace and quiet made for truly restful nights. We made use of the Delux family suite which is a perfect set up for a family of 4 - offering privacy for children (young adults in our case) and parents but with the safety of still being together. It’s rare that you will find such a perfect arrangement to enable parents to know the children are safe but also provides an ‘adult space’. We didn’t book in for breakfast due to dietary needs and fussy eaters but the hosts were keen to support us, which was much appreciated. There were thoughtful touches throughout: leaflets, board games, milk (fridge in room) tea and biscuits, complimentary shampoo and conditioner. The host was even happy to invite guests on her dog walks to see the surrounding area. Parking is available and accessible. This B&B captures everything we love about Cornwall: natural beauty, warm people, and a slower pace of life. It’s a true haven. If you are looking for character and authenticity, where history is oozing and the welcome is warm and friendly then this B&B will not disappoint.

"A stunning character of a house!"

10.0

The guest house is located at the back of Falmouth Arms, so you basically have the entire back wall of this pub facing you. BUT this is NOT a turn-off as the property is an attractive, full of character centuries-old building. We also liked the location (only 6m from Truro city centre) being quiet despite it being situated near the road side. The proprietor is also nice and friendly and made every effort to make our stay comfortable. There is also safe parking spaces. The family room we stayed has enough space for us to hang around and not be on each other's feet. There is also plenty of tea, coffee and fresh milk in the fridge inside the wardrobe :) -- ingenious!

Well the parking space also accommodated a lot of rubbish bins that it was risky parking it too close and the possibility of it being blown onto your vehicle (Feb weather in Cornwall was a bit windy). Another thing was residents cars were parked along the road (to the left side as you maneuver out onto the main road) that obstruct your view of the oncoming traffic. Though the road is sometimes quiet, buses and lorries do use it regularly.
