Bran Monte Crai Chalet

It's the first time we experienced winter here, and we loved it! Views out the window are absolutely breath taking with Piatra Craiului covered in snow, the air is fantastic, and being away from the crowded Bran is always a plus for us. Making and sitting by the fire in the chimney was a super nice family evening experience.

Montecrai is the definition of 10 for self catering chalet stay. We could not ask for more. Lovely as always. Plus, this time we enjoyed the barbecue area and the cosy fireplace. Adding autumn as perfect season to visit along summer, for this place. Waiting for snow to try also winter :) Must say we also truly appreciated the freshly ground arabica coffee every morning, confirming the high quality of our stay.

Very comfortable bed and carpet in room was new. It was fairly close to the castle we walked down from here.

Make sure you call ahead to have a worker check you in. We had a different room without a balcony than what we booked with.

The views are incredible

Awful all locked up nobody to check us in place dilapidated.. wasted 2 hours outside before being faced with a 2 mile trek into bran to find alternate accommodation…. Would advise nobody to use this it shouldn’t even be on booking:com just awful….

Position

No services, no restaurant, too expensive for just sleeping and no services..

Very quiet, family friendly and clean facility.
