Villa Mazza al Vesuvio

The residence is nicely located right outside the city and on the food of mount Vesuvio. You cannot get a better combination of scenic views of the mountain and Capri as well as being close to the city. For couples the rooms are great, well equipped, clean and comfortable!

For couples the rooms are great, well equipped, clean and comfortable! For families the apartments are simply to small. Also the fact that visitors have to rely on the resident hostess to open the property gates every time one arrives or leaves is a little irritating.

The view of Mount Vesuvius was great. The location was very quiet. The bed was comfortable. Beautiful farm. The hostess had homemade jams & tart slice for breakfast and a croissant. Coffee. Breakfast was a flexible time.

It was a very difficult drive, the road leading up to the house was a very narrow road. We suggest more signs to locate the house. A neighbor person was nice enough to show us the exact location of the house. No bell or sign on the gate upon arrival. We were not greeted with basic information such as orientation to the room, keys, wifi, AC, no water or glasses in the room.

A beautiful Villa set on the slope od Vesuvius, sourrounded in lush greenery. Our host prepared delicious dinners and it was a pleasure. After long day od sightseeing we relaxed in the garden overseeing the sea. Our dog was more than welcome so it was all in all perfect!

Brilliant view of Vesuvius. Setting, view, host and room excellent.

The breakfast was really nice but just croissant, cake, bread and an orange. There were tea and coffee choices. The drive up to reach the villa was on extremely narrow streets. Also quite a walk into town - 2km and then little choice of where to eat in February.

Beautiful villa, the room is big, clean, very comfortable. A breathtaking view to Vesuvius. The host was very helpful and nice. Highly recommended!

it was truly an agricultural experience but with the fine touches of a beautiful B and B …. food was out of this world… host incredibly welcoming…..

The house and its location are wonderful and arty. The garden and farm are peaceful and beautiful, with a view on both the Vesuve and the sea. The dinner was extremely good, almost or all with fresh products from the garden and good value. As other comments say the access is a bit stressful since it's a narrow road but nothing that cannot be done and the reward is worth it. The breakfast was sweet fresh and good products (croissant - cakes) a hot and cold beverage.

An option for salty breakfast would be nice even if it's only cold cuts or bread.
