Central apartment close to food and shopping

The location was excellent, minutes away from all attractions and nightlife. The apartment was very cosy and comfortable. However we did encounter a problem when we arrived. There was not enough heating for us. My wife, who's asthmatic, especially felt it. But I contacted the owner, Giovanni, and he was immediately over. He said the temperature was normal for Italian homes but he could see our discomfort and said he'd get a heater for us. Within he was back, puffing and sweating from rushing, with an electric heater. He was absolutely brilliant. My wife felt terrible that he had rushed so much but he said it was no problem. He made our stay really enjoyable and we thoroughly recommend this apartment.

As I mentioned just the initial heating problem which was quickly sorted.

Terrific location… short walk to main square and other key locations. Apartment modern, clean, good lighting and very comfortable bed. Kitchen area well equipped, plenty of bathroom towels and some toiletries. Lift worked… essential for 3rd floor. Apartment felt secure and safe. Excellent communication from owner… very prompt replies to questions.

Minor point: Useful information folder but I couldn’t find (or didn’t see) how to operate towel rail… may have missed it? Worked out how to switch it on but may have affected program in process.

Loved our stay in Bologna. The apartment was great. Excellent location and had everything we needed.

A little noisy at night but we were their at the weekend and should be expected.

The location is perfect for exploring Bologna.

A localização é soberba. Muito próxima dos principais monumentos de Bolonha. Muito próxima de lojas e supermercados. Apesar de se localizar na zona histórica, o apartamento é muito calmo e silencioso. O anfitrião, Giovanni, foi muito atencioso e ajudou-nos bastante. O apartamento é ótimo, bem decorado e bem equipado. Recomendamos muito.

Para quem viaja de carro, é difícil estacionar próximo.

Compact but charming, light apartment with a balcony in easy reach of the main sights of beautiful Bologna. It is really well equipped which is rare in many rental properties and we liked the view over the red and ombre rooftops of the city. It is above the Mercato della Erbe so it's easy to buy delicious fish, fruit and vegetables and there are great bars for an apperitivo. We walked everywhere and it's only a half-hour or less walk from the main station. Giovanni was so helpful and answered all my questions about places to eat and more unusual aspects of this university city. We will be back.

Excellent location and down the road from Neptunes fountain and the main piazza. Easy to find and has great local transport. Grocery shops are everywhere as are cafes and bars.Giovanni the host was prompt and helpful with any questions that we asked. Bed was soft but comfortable. The kitchen has all the utensils you would need for cooking. The apartment was clean and bathroom had soft towels. Giovanni also had oil and some bathroom items. Over all we would certainly stay here again. Thank you Giovanni.
