Old Town Central Zadar

The location was perfect, in the heart of the old town! Very good communication with the host, very nice and polite! He even allowed us to check up earlier, which was very convenient, because it was really hot outside. The bed is very comfortable. There is air condition! Overall good apartment!

The only 2 problems - first and important for me - was not clean, there was dark hair on the floor and some other unpleasant things. Second, acceptable, but inconvinient - The shower is under the boiler, if you are tall like us, it is difficult.

Fantastiskt läge mitt i Gamla stan precis vid gågatorna. Promenadavstånd till Vattenorgeln där man även kan bada från kajen. Det finns trappor ner så det är enkelt att doppa sig. Massa små gator och gränder över hela Gamla stan med restauranger och shopping. Många mataffärer nära bland annat ett stort Konzum. Vid kajen mot staden till går utflyktsbåtarna, ca 5 minuters promenad. Kan rekommendera en dagstur till nationalparkerna. Ta gärna den reguljära båttrafiken från Gamla stan till Prego. Det är en by på en ö utanför Zadar med många stränder och vikar. 5 Euro per person och resa. Värden var till stor hjälp. Mötte upp och hade fått vänta på oss då det strulade med taxi.

Generellt ganska ganska dyrt i Kroatien under högsäsong. Jag kan tipsa om att använde er av Uber. Under halva priset mot vanlig taxi samt att priset och resan bestäms innan. I övrigt inget att klaga på.

The location of the property is right in the centre of the old town so it can be a bit noisy at night but very close to restaurants and bars. The apartment was very clean and had everything you need for self catering. Mr Dunatov was easily accessible and he met us at property with the keys. The property is up 2 flights of stairs so not ideally suited for the infirm.

I was alright with the accommodation

The apartment is in a great location ,perfect to use as a base to explore the town .Air con was great to keep us comfortable at night .Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure .Zadar is a great place to walk around with a relaxed friendly atmosphere ,the adoption of the Euro seems to have hiked prices ,we found it generally expensive ( example serving wine in 100ml glasses for 6 euro ,drinks much cheaper in the bars )and not great value but undoubtedly good quality . Out of town you get better value ,we liked Sabunya which offers great value traditional food .

We found the bed a bit firm .The bath is only half size .The apartment is rather dated.Being right in the centre ,it is noisy at night and also very early in the morning with street cleaning and restocking of the bars and restaurants .Apartment block is rather unattractive . A point not related to the apartment , the taxi drivers at Zadar airport are running a scam ,overpricing the transfer to the town .With us the price started at 95 went down to 75 and then 50 which we stupidly accepted .There is a shuttle bus for 5 euro with a convenient collection point marked on the tourist map .Also,the taxi drivers lurk near that point and will fill up a mini bus and cars and take people back to the airport......cost 5 euro !

Apartment was as described. A little dated, and indeed noisy at night from the town / with a tiny shower, but the location was ideal and check in host friendly. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook.

Shower very small and awkward. Cutlery and plates in the cupboard were quite dirty and needed washing before use. Noise from the street below was loud through the windows.

Location was right in the centre of Zadar's old town. Apartment had pretty much everything that was needed. Simple supermarkets within a couple of minutes away. Lots of different eateries and bars as soon as you walk out of the apartment building. Waterfront was 5 mins away and so were the main attractions.

Could do with some mugs but that's about it.
