Everything was just as you could want or need. Staff were amazing and anticipate your every wish, going out of their way to help make your stay perfect. Truly a great experience.

Nothing really comes to mind

After the safari adventure, we spent four unforgettable days at Zawadi Hotel in Zanzibar this September. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at, and it deserves every bit of praise. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer beauty of the property. The entire area feels like a slice of paradise, with lush, manicured gardens and vibrant flowers creating a tranquil oasis. Every detail is carefully attended to, making the surroundings feel magical. The villas were absolutely spotless and beautifully designed, offering the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The highlight of our stay, however, was the food. Every meal was served à la carte, and each dish was excellent—imaginative, delicious, and prepared with great care. Dining at Zawadi was a true culinary delight. The staff at Zawadi set a new standard for hospitality. From the warm and welcoming reception team, especially the lovely Noura, to the attentive F&B staff and even the gardeners, everyone we encountered was genuinely kind and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. One of the most memorable experiences was the guided tour through the gardens, which was both informative and enjoyable (feeding the donkey was almosts as exciting as safari!). We also loved the little touches, like sundowners served in our villa and the creative gin and tonic menu. Zawadi Hotel is a place we will never forget. It’s more than a hotel—it’s an experience. We’re already dreaming of returning and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a slice of paradise, Zawadi is the place to be.

I felt it was unnecessarily over priced. Yes, for an all inclusive hotel it was at the best a 600-800$ a night hotel, definitely not 1500$.

Everything, staff, food rooms. It exceeded all expectations from the moment we arrived to the send off. A truly exceptional experience. Thank you thank you to Evelyne, Noa, Isaak, Bernard, Ally, Mr. M, Iddy,, Raza and everyone else who made our stay unforgettable, the chefs, the housekeeping crew, the gardeners, the musicians and the maintenance crew who magically fixed a shower head that we broke during lunchtime.

Cleanness and staff were extraordinary!

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. During our stay my hubby got sick in stomach, we almost had every dinner in the room with their excellent room service. They also bring us breakfast and proper drinks. The kitchen specially made fresh chicken soup and rice to cater my hubby's stomach. The view is also amazing. we have direct access to the beach which is stunning, full of soft white sand and also can see a lot of shallow ocean creatures when the tide is low (during noon). it is fun taking a walk there enjoy the view and sun,

the road from airport to the hotel is bumpy
