"Air Conditioning may be different than you think."

5.0

The price matches the accommodations. The area is quiet and this unit is next to church plaza, scenic alley, and 1 block from small parking lot.

The biggest dislike would be the Air Condition. What comes with accommodations are 2 portable cooler units that use ice in a water chamber and air movement to provide a cooling effect. In USA we call these “swamp coolers” and we were surprise to see that this met the standard to advertise air conditioning. I think this is a culture difference between US and EU. The provided cooler units did help some and so did opening the windows at night. The lowest I could get bedroom at night in July was 28C - 30C (82F-86F) which is right at the edge for what I can tolerate for sleeping. This involves swapping out ice pack in middle of night. We would site see all day so unable to tell you how hot it gets during day. The place was clean but slightly worn and dated. There are also steep stairs to get to rooms which are standard for this community. Neither of these bother us and for the rate and was expected.
